Scope

This policy explains how Vendurex handles personal information for the merchants who use the platform, and how we handle information belonging to their customers.

When you buy something from a store running on Vendurex, that store decides how your information is used. We handle it on that store's behalf and under its instructions. Requests about a purchase should go to the store you bought from.

Information we collect

We collect only what the service needs to operate.

• Account information for merchants, such as name, email address, and sign-in credentials.
• Business information a merchant provides, such as store details and product listings.
• Order information, such as a buyer's name, email address, purchase history, and delivery status.
• Technical information about requests, such as network address and approximate location, used to secure the service and apply a store's own fraud rules.
• Communications you send us, such as support requests and feedback.
• We do not collect or store payment card numbers. Payments are handled by payment providers, who collect those details directly.

How we use information

We use information to:

• provide, maintain, and improve the service;
• process orders and deliver purchases;
• communicate about accounts, transactions, and support;
• detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents;
• comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

How we share information

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

We share information with service providers who perform functions on our behalf and are bound by contract to use it only for that purpose, with merchants in respect of their own customers, with payment providers to complete a transaction, and where required by law or to protect rights and safety. Information may also transfer as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to appeal a decision we make about such a request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

Merchants may make a request by writing to privacy@vendurex.com. Buyers should contact the store they purchased from, which controls that information.

We verify requests before acting on them, and an authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf with proof of authorization.

Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encryption of sensitive data, restricted internal access, and time-limited access links for delivered purchases. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy. Short-lived records used for sign-in and security are removed automatically once they expire. Transaction records are kept as long as required for accounting, tax, and dispute-resolution purposes, and are then deleted.

Children

The service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If we learn we have, we will delete it.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy, and the date below reflects the current version. Material changes will be communicated before they take effect.
